Laura and I had an opportunity to meet our friends' 2-week old son, Aiden last weekend. He slept, and snuggled, and farted a few times. What's the big deal? This is going to be easy.

La Pupuseria

I woke up this morning to find Laura relaxing in the baby's room. It's mostly come together now, with a few new additions that came in today. We're certainly looking forward to the main addition.

Some Stats

No new pictures for you all tonight, I'm afraid, but Laura and I wanted to share some statistics that we were told by the ultrasound technician the other day. They are quite interesting (if subject to a 15% swing in either direction). They are:

Head size percentile: 87%
Body size percentile: 62%
Estimated weight: 7lbs 2oz

Our OB this morning gave us yet another positive status report, noting that the weight was mostly due to the head size. Wow. Look for more pictures later this week!

Babymoon 2008

Laura and I went up north to Calistoga this weekend for some sun, fun and hot spring-style relaxing. We'd had some requests for pregnant belly photos, so here you go. The pool is at a place called Indian Springs, where capped geysers feed an Olympic-size soaking pool. Perfect for pregnant ladies taking a load off!

The Last Ultrasound Pix

Laura and I had our final ultrasound visit on Wednesday, and these were the images! Evidently, the pupusa likes pressing its face against the placenta, so we can't get a great view of its profile. This happened last time too, you all might remember. Oh well - the next time you see this little one, it will be in full color (we promise!).
