Might As Well Jump

Jump!

Fun Weekend With Family

We all headed down to Redwood City recently for some good times with Cousin Pam, Aunt Billie and Cousin Johnnie. Good times all around.

He was cute until...

he drooled down his front. OK, he's still pretty cute.

That's a Big Zucchini

We've got a pretty productive garden this summer. We tried and tried to grow zucchini unsuccessfully for the past several years, but this year we hit the jackpot. Proven here for scale.

Crawlin' around

Leo finds himself in many new places now that he's on the move. Under the bookshelf? Sure.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

I like sushi almost as much as you do.

Party of One

Leo's all about sitting up these days. He even has a cool chair to practice in, thanks to Aunt Em's. Thanks, Aunt Em's!

Let me outta here!

Leo has learned that his crib is basically a glorified cage. Often, when we come in to wake him up from naps, he's waiting for us with both fists wrapped around the bars. We've all come to terms with this. And we're OK. He even smiles about it!

Shasta Part III

More water, more family and friends.

Shasta Part II

It was all about the water up in Shasta. We swam every day - in lakes, rivers, streams, whatever. And it all looked like the cover of a TrapperKeeper. Wonderful.

Shasta Part I

We spent a week up near Mount Shasta in July. There was a rotating cast of characters from near and far that came to stay in a house we rented up there. Lots of swimming, eating, drinking and goofing around. Lots of good company thanks to our friends and family - the scenery wasn't too shabby either.

Yes, that is an in-ground trampoline...

Dinner with Babo

Babo and Oma visited recently, so we went out to dinner a bunch. Leo and Babo had fun.

Calistoga Paradise

Our friends Rob & Anna invited us up to visit in Calistoga where there was nothing but fun and beauty, magnolias and sunglasses to be found.

Overalls 'n' Vans

What could be cooler/cuter?

What Kind of Kid Doesn't Like Applesauce Part II?

It seems cruel, but we had to make sure, right?

What Kind of Kid Doesn't Like Applesauce?

Leo eats anything. Seriously, anything. Even if he seems to hate it, he eats it. Witness, applesauce:

No Tan Lines

"Hey Aiden, I'm pretty sure we're the only ones without swimsuits here."
"Right?"
"Right."

Swimming: Fun, Scary, Fun

We hung out at our friend Chris' house up in Sonoma recently, where they have a POOL. Swimming is very good times these days, but we hadn't done the full dunk quite yet. Like most things Leo, he was a little shocked by a new experience, but came up with a smile!
