Wine for Whiners Pt. 1
When Ryan was in town from Seattle recently, we were lucky enough to be invited up to our friend Karen's family's place in Santa Rosa for a grape harvest/winemaking event. The four of us toiled in the fields with several other guests, picking Pinot Noir and Sangiovese grapes, before moving on to winemaking operations. Leo was moderately impressed by the vineyards, but loved crawling around in the grass and playing in the sandbox.
Take Us Out to the Ballgame!
We managed to catch one of the Giants' last home games this year, and what a gem! A beautiful day at the ballpark, a win over the Cubs and some hot dogs. Leo started off a bit skeptical, but he came around and had a blast. More games in '10, and hopefully a slightly better outcome on the season.
Swinging: Still Really Fun
Swinging remains one of the favorite activities. Here at Mission Playground, we swung and we swung good.
Standing Tall
Leo's been up and at 'em a lot these days. Ever since we came back from Ohio, he's all about pulling himself up on anything and everything. Somehow, I know where this is going...
