From the delivery room

No photos (yet), but after 11 hours Laura is doing great and looking forward to the home stretch. We're at 10 cm, and think that she'll start pushing within the hour. She's had an epidural since about noon which has made things pretty mellow. We've been lucky to have great nurse care along with Lana and Emily in the wings. I think that I've learned how to monitor the machines so that I at least look like I know what I'm doing. As always, Laura is tough and cheerful through it all. She's been smiling and laughing a lot - can't ask for much more. Stay tuned for the main event!
